11 ASIAA MINUSTA/BLOGISTA
11 THINGS ABOUT ME/ABOUT THE BLOG

1. En edes kunnolla ole kertonut oikein itsestäni teille lukijoilleni, enemmän blogini on perustunut vaihto-oppilaan kokemuksiin. Hyvä näin vuoden toisella puoliskolla alkaa enemmän kertomaan kirjoittajasta. No ei tässä mitään häviä. Toisaalta tätä blogia tuntuu lukevan lähinnä ihmiset, jotka minut tuntevat "oikeasta elämästä". En ole siksi viitsinyt heitä tylsistyttää turhanpäiväisillä henkilökohtaisilla faktoilla.

I really have never told so much about me, My blog is more based just experiences of random exchange student. It's really good moment to start telling about me in the second part of my exchange year. Well I don't lose anything. Also I have taught that mostly people who already know me, read this blog and I don't want to bore then with no matter personal facts about me.

Saa nähdä, millainen on "prinsessapäivä" Italiassa.

I don't have explained about my hobbies in my blog. So (allora), I played soccer actively in Finland and also here I tried desperately find some kind of team. Despite the efforts of finding, I have to say good bye and start something new here in Italy. Now I am going to track and field trainings with my class mate about 1-3 times in a week. Also a couple weeks ago I started to dancing lessons, those lessons are training for "prom", which will be in next month. I am excited to see, how is prom in Italy.

3. Minulla on tavallaan pelko Suomeen paluusta.

I kind of have fear of returning to Finland. I don't say, that I wouldn't like to return on July to Finland. I am just scared that things and people are changed too much during this ten months. I have already used to live here in little city of Sardinia, I have got an other life here. People perhaps don't understand, how difficult is live between "two lifes". I try as well as possibly to keep in contact to Finland, but it isn't easy. Quite many my "good" friends don't have spoke to me after my leaving. I don't have time to everything. Maybe you readers have noticed that I don't update my blog so often, basically it is just impossible. Anyway, I am also happy to back to Finland, you guys don't have to be scared there! My returning comes closer and closer.

4. Tällä on tuskalliset hetket käsillä, kun yritän täältä käsin etsiä itelleni loppukesän puolelle töitä. Tosiaan paluupäiväni on 7. heinäkuuta. 128 päivää on jäljellä (mulla on koko ajan laskuri käynnissä kännykässä). Täällä siis sitä vauhtia rahaa oon pistänyt tuhlaukseen, että olisin erittäin iloinen edes parista viikosta töitä ennen koulun alkua. OIen yrittänyt nettiä selailla, saa nähdä, miten tärppää!

I have painful moments going on, I have tried to search work for rest of the summer, when I will be returned to Finland. The day, when I will come back, is 7th of July, there are 128 days left, (I have all the time counter on my phone). I have spent so much money here, so I would be happy to have a couple weeks of work after returning to Finland, I have tried to look from internet, hopefully I will catch something!

In Finland I was good at irritate people (at least my parents), because I always used to be late. I had always problems to be somewhere on time. Now I have finally learnt, how does it feel to wait somebody, who is late. In general italians are always late! It isn't any surprise if my friend is one hour late from agreed time. Yesterday I went to my friend's house on time, she was preparing to go to shower. People don't hurry here. If person comes too many times late to school, the penalty is cleaning school yard. On school's corridors I have heard a legend of the student, who has been over 50 times late during first part of the school year.

6. En ole varma, olenko jo kertonut pirteästä "vaaristani" täällä Macomerissa. Hän on 93-vuotias teräspappa. (Täällä kaikki elävät hirmu vanhoiksi). Kyseinen vaari oli kauhuissaan kysynyt hostäidiltäni: "Onko joku lyönyt Saaraa?? Todellisuudessa minulla oli käytössä punaista huulipunaa.

I am not sure, have I told about "my" cheerful grandfather here in Macomer. He is 93-year-old steel granpa. (Here everybody live really long life.) The grandpa asked in terror from my hostmum: "Has somebody hit Saara?? In fact I was wearing red lipstick.

7. Macomerin sää on hiukan tuulinen ja sateinen ajoittain. Minun ostoslistan ykkösenä komeilee viides sateenvarjo Italiassa. Kaikki aikaisemmat olen onnistunut lahjakkaasti tuhoamaan.

Macomer's weather is sometimes a little bit windy and rainy. I should buy my fifth umbrella in Italy. All the others I have managed to destroy. I don't anymore wonder, why teachers said in middle school that Mediterranean climate is called also winter rainfall climate.

Normally Italy is considered as home of fashion, however there aren't so much compliments in people's styles in Macomer. My pashions are clothing and look. Here people put attension to look only if there is party. All the people dress in the same way to school; school backpack, jeans, funny t-shirt and sneakers/trainers, it's a little bit different than basic blazers at school in Finland.

I am so happy, because there are coming so many awesome things. First after two weeks I will do "an exchange week" to near Venice in other family of AFS, from Venice I will take direct train to Milan, where is my official hostfamily. In April part of my family comes from Finland to visit little Macomer. I can't wait to introduce my Italian life to them. I also go with them to Rome. I am so excited to see Italy also outside of Sardinia. Anyway Italian mainland is different than Sardinia.

10. Olen oppinut olemaan hyvin onnellinen Suomen koulujärjestelmästä. Tällä hetkellä Italiassa lukion viimeisellä luokalla olevat kaverini stressaavat, kuinka onnistuvat maksamaan lähemmäs 10 000 euroa vuodelta maksavan yliopistokoulutuksen.

I have learnt to be really happy about Finland's school system. At the moment my Italian friends from last grade of high school are stressing, how to pay almost 10 000 euros from one year in university.

Sometimes I feel quite difficult to form the content of the blog. I have so many different types of readers, they want to hear about different things. So I hope and ask, if you have questions, comments, proposes, wishes, good/bad feedback, just let me know!

11 KYSYMYSTÄ HAASTAJALTA
11 QUESTIONS FROM CHALLENGER

1. Mikä on ollut parasta vuodessassi tähän mennessä?
Which things have been the best ones until now from your year?

Eräs hetki on jäänyt erityisesti mieleeni. Ensimmäinen AFS:n leiri täällä Sardiniassa on unohtumaton. Makasimme yhteisellä viltillä kolmelta aamuyöllä ympärimaailmaa tulleiden nuorten kanssa, silmät tokkurassa laskimme, kuinka monta tähdenlentoa kukin näkee. Se oli hieno hetki!

I can't say one highlight from year. Succes and beeing with people have been the best moments, learning a new language and people's caring of me. One speacial moment is in my mind. First AFS camp here in Sardinia is unforgetable. We all international kids lay on the ground together in the middle of the night, everybody were so tired, were counting shooting stars. That was great moment!

What do you still want to experience or do during you exchange year?

I feel, that I hvae got already so much. I still would like to make my Italian better and I would like to see Italy a lot outside of Sardinia. Also I haven't yet experienced yet Sardinian's summer and beach weathers.

3. Puhutko jo sujuvasti isäntämaasi kieltä?
Do you speak already fluently the language of your hostcountry?

I would say that I can speak Italian fluently. I can express myself one way or another. Of course I have still a lots of things to learn, but in the end it's not so accurate.

4. Oletko koskaan miettinyt, että haluaisit palata aikaisemmin kotiin?

Have you ever taught, that you would like to return home earlier?

I had quite difficult period during the Christmas time. I missed home more than ever. I got idea of going back, but it wasn't any great desire. This girl isn't ready to return home as a looser!

5. Mitä kaikkea oot oppinut arvostamaan Suomessa ihan eri tavalla tän vuoden aikana?

What you have learnt to appreciate in Finland different way during this year?

Olen oppinut arvostamaan Suomessa monia asioita ihan uudella tavalla. Muutamia esimerkkejä ovat esimerkiksi vanhemmat, ystävät, koulujärjestelmä, vapaus, ruoka, talojen lämmitysjärjestelmät, ruisleipä, tyylitaju, hienovaraisuus, tasa-arvoisuus, maalaisjärki ja hyväkuntoiset tiet.

I have learnt to appreciate so many things from Finland in a new way. A couple examples are parents, friends, school system, freedom, food, the heating systems of houses, rye bread, a sense of style, subtlety, equality, common sense and good roads.

 6. Mitä asioita tulet ikävöimään kohdemaastasi, kun palaat Suomeen?
Which things you are going to miss from your hostcountry, when you will return to Finland?

Tästäkin listasta saisin koottua aika pitkän. Esimerkkejä ovat ihmisten vieraanvaraisuus, aitous ja positiivisuus, ystävät eri puolilta maailmaa, ilmasto, luonto, meri, kiireetön elämäntapa, pizza, uusien asioiden oppiminen ja merenrantatalo.

I could make this list quite long. Some examples are people's hospitality, authenticity and positivity, friends all around the world, climate, nature, sea, unhurried lifestyle, pizza, learning of new things and seaside house.

7. Millainen on perus arkipäiväsi?

How is your basic weekday?

Herààn arkena seitsemàltà, teen kaikki perus aamutoimet. Làhden kouluu kàvelemààn 8.10. Koulu matka on sellainen 10 minuutin kàvely. Ensimmàiset kolme tuntia ovat putkeen, jonka jàlkeen on 15 minuutin tauko 11.05. Tuon kouluun jotain pientà syòtàvàà tai ostan leivàn koulusta. Tàmàn jàlkeen on tiedossa kaksi muuta tuntia, jonka jàlkeen tauko 10 minuuttia. Tauon jàlkeen on viimein tunti ja kotiin pààsen làhteen normaalisti 2.15. Hostisàni hakee minut yleensà kymmenen minuutin kàvelymatkan koulusta kotiin, jotta pààsemme nopeammin syòmààn lounasta, jonka hostàiti on valmistanut. Tàllàinen on perus arkipàivàni.

On weekday I wake up at 7 o'clock, and I do all my basic morning stuff. I start walking to school at 8.10, It takes 10 minutes to walk to school. First three hours are in a row. We have break at 11.05 for 15 minutes. I bring some snack to school or I buy bread. After that we two hours more, 10 minutes break, one lesson more and we get out of school at 2.15. Normally my hostfather takes me from school, because my hostparents don't want to wait me for a "long" time that we can eat lunch together. After lunch I have at 4 track and field trainings or I just stay at home on computer/studying/with hostmum. Usually at 6 o'clock I will go out with my friends, if they aren't studying. At 8.30 pm I will return to home, I eat dinner together with other members of my hostfamily, sometimes we stay dinner out with my friends, we go buy pizza and I return later to home. Usually before sleeping I do all my basic evening stuff and I stay on computer. This is my basic weekday.

8. Oletko käynyt trefffeillä vaihtosi aikana?
Have you been in dates during your exchange?

I have more rejected than accepted "date questions". Sometimes get tired to Italian guys. It is such a miracle here in Sardinia's little village that somebody has "blond" hair and blue eyes. Last time yesterday completely random guy came three times to my door to ask me out and my phone number. I wait going back to Finland so I can be "in privacy".

9. Mihin asioihin sinnulla on ollut eniten totuttelua?

Which things were the most difficult to get to used to?

Tähän kysymykseen on jotenkin vaikea vastata.

It's somehow difficult to answer to this question. Maybe it has been in generally difficult to get to used to this situation. I went a new place, where I knew nobody. We didn't have common language. Unknown people and culture were guiding, how I should do and live. Just in general it has been difficult to adopt new lifestyle, where are nothing already known or safe.

10. Mitkä on lempivaatekauppasi isäntämaassasi?
What is your favorite cloth store in your hostcountry?

Täällä Macomerissa en juuri mitään vaatteita ostele, koska valikoima on aika alhainen. Suomessakin normaali Zara on lemppari vaatekauppa Sardiniassa. Tulevaisuudessa olisi tarkoitus päästä Milanon Abercrombiessa käymää. ;>

In Macomer I don't buy so much clothes, because the level of the supply isn't really great and it's almost same whole Sardinia. Anyway always, when I get out of Macomer, I buy something. I can't find basic H&M from Sardinia. From Zara I like buy the most of the clothes. I can't wait to go Milan and Abercrombie. ;>

11. Miten voisit suositella isäntämaatasi muille vaihtoon lähtijöille?

How you could recommend your hostcountry to others, who have taught to go exchange?

Jokaisen vaihtarin vuosi on uniikki kokemus.

Exchange experience depends a lot from host family and the town, where you live, the country doesn't directly tell, how the exchange year will be. Exchange year is always unique experience. In general I would recommend Italy for future exchange students, because here isn't hard to get to know the people (at least in Macomer). All the people are full of life and interest. People are helpful and hospitable. It's quite easy to learn Italian, because nobody speaks Italian. And In generally Italy is really varied country, It offers so many different places, so much to see and experience.

En halua nyt ketààn tiettyà henkilòà làhtee haastamaan, koska en hirveàsti lue blogeja. Jos joku innostuu tàstà ideasta jotain omaan blogiinsa vàsààmààn, olehyvà! :D

I don't want start challeng somebody, because I don't read so many blogs, If somebody gets from this challenge something idea to its blog, you are welcome to do it! :D

Làhiaikoina parempi postaus tiedossa kaikista kuulumisista!
I will do another post soon about my news!

tiistai 5. helmikuuta 2013

In fact, 7th of february I have been here a half of my experience. I can't understand, how fast the time goes, no time and I will be back in Finland. At least I am not stressing about returning! On Thursday I will go to camp of AFS, where will go every exchange student of Sardinia. We are going to celebrate Italian carnival. It's celebrated all around Italy. There are carnival parades in different towns, people have costumes and they are organizing parties. I won't tell yet, how is my costume! Everybody was terrified, when I told that we don't have carnival in Finland. "That's boring!" Anyway, Now I will tell my disorganized news from last weeks.

Lähi aikoina on viikonloppuisin riittänyt juhlaa toisen perään, kolme viikkoa peräkkäin olen juhlistanut eri ihmisten syntymäpäiviä. Alempana onnistuneimpia otoksia eri juhlista.

During these weeks I have been in many parties, three different birthdays of my friends. About a week ago I was in Sassari "surprise, surprise", American girl had birthday. We ate dinner in Chinese and after that we went to disco to dance. Under there are some pics from parties.

My other spear time I have used to studying! I just finished first period of the school year, I should get  a certificate after a couple of days. I felt some painful moments while attempting to orally do exams about function of neuromusculars or adventures of Iliade in ancient Greece. Last week I realized that I haven't put so much photos of the town or the school, I tried to take a couple, so you could see, where I am living.

Viime perjantaina oli "avointen ovien päivä" koulussa, "ylä-astelaiset" pääsi tutustumaan kouluun, ihmiset esiintyivät. Minä selitin vaihto-oppilaskokemukset. Lisäksin pääsin tanssimaan Ballo Sardoa, Sardinian oma traditio. Hostisä varsinkin tuntuu pitävän siitä. :D

Last friday there were "doors open" at school, Middle school kids were able to visit our high school. People were performing, I talked about my exchange experience. I was also able to try Ballo Sardo, Sardinia's own tradition. I have noticed that specially my hostfather likes it. :D
I don't have more to tell this time, I really try to shape up with this blog!

What is exchange?

This text is perfect to describe exchange experience, I wanted to share this with you guys, I don't have written this by myself.

What is exchange?
Exchange is change. Rapid, brutal, beautiful, hurtful, colorful, amazing, unexpected, overwhelming and most of all constant change. Change in lifestyle, country, language, friends, parents, houses, school, simply everything.

Exchange is realizing that everything they told you beforehand is wrong, but also right in a way.

Exchange is going from thinking you know who you are, to having no idea who you are anymore to being someone new. But not entirely new. You are still the person you were before but you jumped into that ice cold lake. You know how it feels like to be on your own. Away from home, with no one you really know. And you find out that you can actually do it.

Exchange is learning to trust. Trust people, who, at first, are only names on a piece of paper, trust that they want the best for you, that they care. Trust, that you have the strength to endure a year on your own, endure a year of being apart from everything that mattered to you before. Trust that you will have friends. Trust that everything’s going to be alright. And it is seeing this trust being justified.

Exchange is thinking. All the time. About everything. Thinking about those strange costumes, the strange food, the strange language. About why you’re here and not back home. About what it’s going to be like once you come back home. How that boy is going to react when you see him again. About who’s hanging out where this weekend. At first who’s inviting you at all. And in the end where you’re supposed to go, when you’re invited to ten different things. About how everybody at home is doing. About how stupid this whole time-zone thing is. Not only because of home, but also because the TV ads for shows keep confusing you.
Thinking about what’s right and what’s wrong. About how stupid or rude you just were to someone without meaning to be. About the point of all this. About the sense of life. About who you want to be, what you want to do. And about when that English essay is due, even though you’re marks don’t count. About whether you should go home after school, or hang out at someone’s place until midnight. Someone you didn’t even know a few months ago. And about what the hell that guy just said.

Exchange is people. Those incredibly strange people, who look at you like you’re an alien. Those people who are too afraid to talk to you. And those people who actually talk to you. Those people who know your name, even though you have never met them. Those people, who tell you who to stay away from. Those people who talk about you behind your back, those people who make fun of your country. All those people, who aren’t worth your giving a damn. Those people you ignore.
And those people who invite you to their homes. Who keep you sane. Who become your friends.

Exchange is music. New music, weird music, cool music, music you will remember all your life as the soundtrack of your exchange. Music that will make you cry because all those lyrics express exactly how you feel, so far away. Music that will make you feel like you could take on the whole world. And it is music you make. With the most amazing musicians you’ve ever met. And it is site reading a thousand pages just to be part of the school band or the vocal class.

Exchange is uncomfortable. It’s feeling out of place, like a fifth wheel. It’s talking to people you don’t like. It’s trying to be nice all the time. It’s bugs.. and bears. It’s cold, freezing cold. It’s homesickness, it’s awkward silence and its feeling guilty because you didn’t talk to someone at home. Or feeling guilty because you missed something because you were talking on Skype.

Exchange is great. It’s feeling the connection between you and your host parents grow. It’s hearing your host sister asking where her sister is. It’s knowing in which cupboard the peanut butter (Nutella) is. It’s meeting people from all over the world. It’s having a place to stay in almost every country of the world. It’s getting 4 new families. One of them being a huge group of the most awesome teenagers in the world.
It’s cooking food from your home country and not messing up. It’s seeing beautiful landscapes that you never knew existed.

Exchange is exchange students. The most amazing people in the whole wide world. Those people from everywhere who know exactly how you feel and those people who become your absolute best friends even though you only see most of them 3 or 4 times during your year. The people, who take almost an hour to say their final goodbyes to each other. Those people with the jackets full of pins. All over the world.

Exchange is falling in love. With this amazing, wild, beautiful country. And with your home country.

Exchange is frustrating. Things you can’t do, things you don’t understand. Things you say, that mean the exact opposite of what you meant to say. Or even worse…

Exchange is understanding.

Exchange is unbelievable.

Exchange is not a year in your life. It’s a life in one year.

Exchange is nothing like you expected it to be, and everything you wanted it to be.

Exchange is the best year of your life so far. Without a doubt. And it’s also the worst. Without a doubt.

Exchange is something you will never forget, something that will always be a part of you. It is something no one back at home will ever truly understand.

Exchange is growing up, realizing that everybody is the same, no matter where they’re from. That there is great people and douche bags everywhere. And that it only depends on you how good or bad your day is going to be. Or the whole year.
And it is realizing that you can be on your own, that you are an independent person. Finally. And it’s trying to explain that to your parents.

Exchange is dancing in the rain for no reason, crying without a reason, laughing at the same time. It’s a turmoil of every emotion possible.

Exchange is everything. And exchange is something you can’t understand unless you’ve been through it.

Pikapikaa

Päätin vielä ennen nukkumaan menoa väsätä säälittävän minimaalisen pikapostauksen lähi päivien tapahtumista.

I decided to do pitifully minimal posting about the last days.

Viime perjantaina hostvanhemmat ilmoittivat; "Saara sinä et mene sitten huomenna kouluun". Vietimme "suomalaisen" lauantain ilman koulua. Lähdimme vaihteeksi Sassarissa käymään alennusmyynneissä. Taas tarttui kaikkea pientä mukaan. Saa kyllä tuo rahankuluttaminen hetkeksi jäädä, tuntuu että shoppailtu on niin paljon lähi aikoina. Kerkesin näkemään Sassarin vaihtarityttöjäkin. Toivottavasti pääsen palaamaan pian taas takaisin!

Last friday my hostparents said, "Saara, you won't go to school tomorrow". We spent "finnish" saturday without school. We went to Sales to Sassari for a change. Again I found many nice things to buy. Now I have to stop spending money, I feel that I have spent so much recently. I had time to meet the exchange girls of Sassari. I hope that I can go back soon!

Muuten vapaa-aikaa tulee vietettyä paljon opiskelujen parissa. Saa nähdä uskalletaanko koulua huomenna avata laisinkaan. Lumi on niin vierasta täällä.

Otherwise I spend my free time with school books. We will get our first school certificate in the end of January. I will be so happy, if I pass all the subjects. It isn't so easy to study economia in Italian or remember every plot twist of French Romantic poetry. At least I got some change to my studying today. My hostmother called me to see, how it was snowing. Here aren't bikini weathers, even I am in Italia! However, the snow melted after couple hours. I will see do they open school tomorrow. Snow is so strange here.

Pitää tsempata koulussa lauantaihin asti, jolloin on useamman kaverini yhteissynttärit vuokratussa salissa. Loppuviikon tsempit teillekin lukijat! :)

I have to keep going this week until Saturday. Then will be birthday party of my many friends in rented hall.
I also wish you, my readers, energy to rest of this week!
We went to cafe with girls in Sassari, It was so good!

Superpostaus, christmas holidays

Henkeäsalpaavia iltojan saan katsella parvekkeeltani,
breathtaking sights from my balcony

I have had a busy program during holidays. Finally I managed to tell everyhting to you guys. My normal daily life starts on monday, when I will return to school. Yeah!

So I already told. There were spectacles during final days before christmas holiday. Students performed to each other. There were playing the instruments, singing and dancing. I yelled out in Finnish, in English and in Italian. I also managed to do my piano performance. I never have performed to so big audience, I suppose. I was quite nervous before the perfom, anyway the audience was cheering, so I couldn't be too bad. :) Every student of the school had brought some treats to school at the last day before the holiday (22nd). I hadn't understood that, so I didn't bring anything. Anyway, there were so many treats that nobody missed one bag of crisps.

Ensi vuonna vuorossa on 1995 ikäluokka.

After the last school day before holidays, there was a big party in  Macomer. Every 1994 born organized this party together. Next year is 1995's turn. There were many friends of mine. On the spot was dj and the program of the evening was basically dancing. Before the party, we were eating pizza and preparing ourselves at my friend's house. It was such a nice evening!

Valmistautumassa juhlimaan, preparing to party

En ikinä oikein saavuttanut oikeaa joulutunnelmaa ja -mieltä täällä. Ihmiset suhtautuivat jotenkin eritavalla jouluun. Yksi kavereistani lahjoitti joulunkunniaksi koskettimistonsa  minulle. Nyt voin kotonakin pimputella pianoa. Haluan sanoa kiitokset kaikille Suomesta lahjoja ja kirjeitä lähettäneille. Ne lämmittivät mieltä oikein paljon!

I never really reached real christmas mood here. People here are taking Christmas different way than in Finland I am used to. Nobody stressed about present, foods or decorations. No Christmas sauna, Christmas porridge, Christmas hats, smell of cinnamon or mulled wine. On Christmas Eve we visited seaside about 30km from Macomer in Bosa. It was a really beautiful day, I was sweating with leather jacket. I also skyped to Finland. We ate extended dinner with my hostfamily and we gave presents each other. I got nightclothes from them. On Christmas Day we ate big luch with my hostfamily, family of my "cousins" and "grandparents". We ate first antipastos, after that lasagne, after that porcetto, after that some kind of casserole, after that fruits and in the end big cake. Following two hours I was lying on the sofa, because I couldn't move. Later in the evening we went to visit family of my hostfather in Sindia (1800 inhabitants). Sindia is little village near by Macomer. We did a little walk in Sindia with my "cousin". I met some my friends and one of my friends donated me her keyboar. Now I can play the piano also at home. I want to thank everybody in Finland who sent me gifts and letters, those made me really happy!

I have been in the land of the Santa, even in this year I didn't have so big "christmas mood".

Joulun välipäivinä oli yksi syntymäpäiväjuhla lisää.
There was one more birthday party on Christmas interim dates.

Viime lauantaina suuntasin Sassariin. Reissuni kesti viime tiistaihin asti, joten vietin uuden vuoden aatonkin Sassarissa. Yövyin amerikkalaisen vaihtaritytön kotona. Vietimme kaiken ajan myös norjalaisen tytön kanssa. He kummatkin asuvat aivan Sassarin keskustassa, joten pääsimme helposti kiertelemään kauppoja. Uuden vuoden aattona söimme päivällisen norjalaisen tytön, hänen "isoveljensä" ja isoveljen kavereiden seurassa. En tuntenut heitä etukäteen, mutta he olivat oikein mukavaa sakkia.

Last Saturday I went to Sassari. My trip lasted until last tuesday, so I spent New Year's Eve also in Sassari. I staid at the house of the American girl, exchange student as well she. We spent a whole time also with Norwegian girl. They both live just in the center of Sassari, so we were easily able to go shopping. At New Year's Eve we ate dinner with Norwegian girl, her "bigbrother" and his friends. I didn't know them before, but they turn out as such a nice bunch of people. For midnight we went to the biggest piazza of Sassari, where everybody were counting seconds to the midnight. Many people sent lanterns to the sky. There weren't so many fireworks. After piazza we went to a disco all together to dance and party New Year. I really liked my trip to Sassari. It was wonderful, when I wasn't almost the blondest girl of the town, like in Macomer. I sometimes miss living in the bigger city. I really want to return to Sassari, as soon as possible!

Now I have tried to tell comprehensive about my Christmas holiday. Hopefully you, my readers had awesome Christmas and New Year's Eve. I miss much Finland, but the time goes fast. Tomorrow I have been four months under the sun of Italy. In no time I am back to Finland. My New Year's resolution is, that I will post more often to this blog!

Haluan vielä pahoitella kuvien laatua. Suurin osa kuvista blogissa on otettu neljän megapixelin pokkarilla, joten kuvien laatu ei ole päätähuimaava.

I want say sorry about qualitu of the photos in this blog. The most of the photos has taken with photo camera of four pixels. The quality isn't so wonderful.
